Our picturesque, homely hotel and restaurant is on the beach front in the beautiful coastal town of Algarrobo, Chile - nautical capital of this South American country. The patio looks out onto the waves breaking (be careful not to get wet), the seagulls and pelicans.
Our hotel consists of five suites, all with full private bathrooms and balconies with sea view and central heating.
Wake up to the sound of the ocean, savor the spectacular sight of the sun setting over the Pacific ocean, treat yourself to the best food, drink and service around. Medio Mundo’s cooks specialize in seafood and homemade pastas, but we obviously also offer excellent salads, soups and meat dishes, not to mention exquisite desserts.
From Santiago take the "Ruta 68" to Valparaiso. At Casablanca take the signaled exit to Algarobbo.

| All the possibilities of our restaurant's kitchen is also available to our guests....stoves, microwave, food processors, refrigerators, etc. We've even had guests who joined in with the staff to make their own breakfast. We're a small, homely establishment and thus adapt to the needs of our guests. |

The front desk is staffed from 10h00 until 22h00 during the week, and until 24h00 on Fridays and Saturdays, and during the peak season (15 December until 15 March). However, there is always someone in the hotel, we are flexible to the needs of our guests.
Daily housekeeping, a welcome drink and 5% discount on the published restaurant prices (see http://www.mediomundo.cl) is all included in the price. Also included is a full American breakfast, which can be served in the room, on the balcony, in the beach front patio or in the restaurant itself.
We also have wireless broadband internet access.
Laundry service is available on request (costs extra).
All rooms have private bathrooms with full-sized baths and central heating. Every room has a balcony with sea view.
We have no minimum stay requirement, but we require that guests deposit 50% of the price in order to confirm reservations.
We accept all mayor credit cards, local currency and US dollars or Euro.
The rooms are non-smoking, but smoking is allowed on the balconies. |
