All are furnished with antiques, treasures and collectables, rich fabrics and recycled old timbers. The rooms vary in size, but each features a bedroom area, lounge space and desk. In every room there is a music system, idd telephone, television with pay channels and dvd, plus tea and coffee making facilities - all are non-smoking. All 9 lodge rooms have king-size beds, and the other (suitable for the disabled) provides two queen beds. All have a dressing room, large bathroom with separate shower and a deep double-spa bath. For guest's comfort, the lodge provides summer and winter bathrobes and slippers, luxurious amenities, and a professional hairdryer. Some rooms have wood burning fireplaces, one has an outdoor plunge tub and others may have a private courtyard, a fountain or a balcony - every room has its own special charm. Food & wine Tower lodges elegant dining room is for the exclusive use of our house guests. Breakfast is served under the imposing two-storey window in the dining room with views across to the beautiful brokenback range. The cloistered courtyard is also a tranquil setting in the summer months for breakfast or evening drinks. Boasting one of the most extensive cellars, the lodge guest lounge and bar is open continuously serving the wines of tower estate as well as aged hunter wines, imported champagnes and a range of malt whiskies and cognacs. Roberts restaurant on tower estate is one of the hunters most iconic restaurants and serves the finest regional cuisine. For private or special occasions there are three private dining rooms to choose from, bookings in advance are required. The hunter wine country boasts a huge variety of innovative and inspirational dining experiences from casual eats to indulgent seasonal cuisine and degustation menus. our lodge staff will be delighted to recommend ideal dining options during your stay with us. Our acclaimed tower estate winery, with its cool and inviting cellar door, is conveniently located on the estate and is open daily from 10am until 5pm (closed only on good friday, christmas day and new years day).

Directions: Directions to Tower Lodge from Sydney by car. o From the centre of Sydney, cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge and proceed along the Pacific Highway north to the National 1 (F3) freeway. At Wahroonga you will turn right onto the Freeway o Travel north along National 1 (F3) freeway towards Newcastle (between 1 and 1 1?2 hours) o Turn off the National 1 (F3) freeway at Cessnock/Kurri Kurri exit and proceed toward Cessnock o As you enter Cessnock along Aberdare Road, turn right at the first set of traffic lights into Vincent Street (following the signs to Branxton). Proceed to the end of Vincent Street. Turn left at the traffic lights at Wollombi Road (following the signs to Branxton) and then the first right at the traffic lights onto [Allandale]/Wine Country Road. Proceed along [Allandale]/Wine Country Drive. 5 Kilometers. You will pass the Information Centre and the Cessnock Airport on the left-hand side of the car. Turn left 500 meters past the Airport into Broke Road. Follow Broke Road for approximately 1 kilometer. Turn left at Halls Road and continue past the entrance to Tower Estate Winery and Tower Lodge is the next entrance on the right. |
