The thirty islands that make up the Grenadines are among the most popular cruising grounds in the Caribbean. The islands are mostly surrounded by coral reefs and clear blue waters perfect for diving, snorkeling and boating. The largest island, St Vincent, is filled with fertile valleys, rushing rivers, soothing waterfalls, and black sand beaches. Northern St Vincent is home to La Soufriere, a 4,000 foot high volcano where you can stand at the rim and look right into the crater. The best beaches of St Vincent are on the western and southern coasts where you can find Villa Beach, Indian Bay Beach, Questelles Bay, Mt. Wynne and Richmond.
