A magical ceremony takes place each evening at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa. While the sun is inching closer to the sea, creating another breathtaking Hawaiian sunset, a conch shell is blown, and a torch lighting ceremony commences which features cliff divers leaping from the Black Rock of Kaanapali. Beach activities include snorkeling, jet skiing, kayaks, and boogie boards. Beach chairs and cabanas are also available for rent. The 142-acre freshwater swimming lagoon travels through tropical gardens and under bridges. The pool area also contains a children's pool, whirlpool with a waterfall feature, and pool gazebos. The Seaside Salon and Day Spa offers a full menu of massage therapies and body treatments. Three night-lit tennis courts are located onsite, and a cultural activities program is available that includes hula lessons and lei making.
