"Hemlock Walk"
This 2 bedroom 1 bath home sits on 6.5 private acres adjacent to Fairview Lake in beautiful Pike County and minutes from big Lake Wallenpaupack.Sleeps 5. A grassy back yard bordered by woods on all sides makes this home very private. Deer, turkey and other wildlife are frequent visitors. A front screened-in porch and an open back deck complete with a gas grill make this cottage enjoyable no matter what the weather. Volleyball, badminton, and bocci to play, and a hammock to lounge in from May - November. Basketball, baseball and tennis rackets are also available at the cottage to use there or at the playground in the woods ½ mile down the road. Directly across from the playground is the Fairview Lake access where you can take our canoe, raft and tubes. There are many other lakes in the area for your boating, fishing and swimming enjoyment. Although Fairview has no beach, there are 3 beaches for your free use minutes in either direction. Don't forget to spend time around the large campfire at the cottage. | Rental Policies and Forms of Payment
|
We offer off-season (after Labor Day and before Memorial Day) discounted weeks and mini-weeks. These discounts are not available on holiday weeks or seasonal-event weeks (hunting weeks, fall foliage weeks, etc.), although we do not charge extra. Please inquire about which weeks are discounted. Discount amounts depend on the number of occupants and length of stay.

We offer early-in, late out when available. There is an extra $50 charge for this option that is added to the total amount.
Reservation Process and Policy:
Properties rent quickly and are rented on a first paid basis.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A deposit of $300 is required for stays of 4 nights or longer. $200 is required for stays of less than 4 nights. This deposit is due along with your BALANCE payment, which is due 4 weeks before your arrival date(when applicable).
If you are sure you want to rent, request a rental agreement and we will email it to you. Complete each item with an asterisk and fax to 215-364-1168 between 6:00 PM - 11:00AM, Monday - Saturday, anytime on Sundays. We will hold the rental for you for 1 week (7 days) from the issue date as we await your deposit check (or full payment) in the mail. If you don't have access to a fax machine, you can let us know that you can't fax and that you will mail us the agreement with your payment.
DEPOSIT amounts, when applicable, will be stated on the agreement: 1/3 of the total cost, but not less than $100. If you will be renting in 4 weeks or less you will need to send the full amount including security. If you will be renting in less than 2 weeks you will need to send payment by bank check or money order, as a personal check will not have time to clear before your rental dates. If you will be renting in less than 1 week you will need to express mail your payment in the form of bank check or money order only.
If we do not receive any form of payment within a week, we will feel entitled to rent to another party.

CANCELLATIONS AND DEPOSITS: If you do need to cancel after your deposit has been paid we will try to fill your vacancy. If we can fill your vacancy in time we will be happy to refund your total deposit minus a $50 administration fee. If we can fill part of your time, we will refund that portion. If you need to cancel after the balance has been paid (4 weeks or less) we will refund the full amount if we can fill your vacancy as stated above, minus a $100 administration fee.
