Koinania Cottage is the place where you can leave behind your concrete, traffic and pollution, your busy schedules, stresses, worries and cares and just relax and find peace in these beautiful scenic surroundings.
Outside your door there is a gently flowing creek. Cows and horses graze in the nearby pastures. The birds sing melodious tunes and the frogs announce that spring has arrived as you sit out on the deck or front porch and take in the scenery and beauty. You may see hawks, squirrels, rabbits, deer, coyotes,turkeys and maybe even site an Eagle.
In the evenings relax around a campfire where you will hear the whip-poor-wills sing and the owls call out. Or (my favorite) take a walk down the road with just the starry sky and full moon to light your way! There are lots of woods to explore and as you hike these hills you come upon creeks and springs. Enjoy fishing in our stocked lake.
Play, swim or fish at our favorite spot ÏThe Rock HoleÓ along Strother Creek where crystal clear, clean waters flow. Canoe and raft on the Black River at Lesterville only 20 minutes away or the Current River, too.
For the children, let their imaginations soar as they explore our special closet filled with dress-up clothes for girls and boys, cowboys and cowgirls alike. There are dolls, and dishes, classic toys, books, board games, trucks and cars and more! If you like you and your family are invited to join our family for a game night where you will enjoy great food and fellowship.

Attention Scrapbookers!!! We cater to groups of ladies who enjoy scrapbooking. Leave the cooking up to us and just crop all day and all night long. We call it Country Cropping! You and your friends will enjoy great fellowship and great food here at Koinania for just $100 per person. Are you the consultant or planner for the cropping weekend?
