The small island of Saba, known as the unspoiled queen, is virtually crimeless, and unemployment is almost nonexistent. The island is not for the traveler looking for nightlife, beaches, shopping and the typical tourist attractions. Saba is a five-square-mile island with only a few shops and practically no beaches. If sun bathing is a must, Cove Bay is the best place to go. The 20-foot-long strip is filled with gray sand, rocks and pebbles, and a small tidal pool for swimming. Divers, swimmers, fishers, and boaters will love Saba National Marine Park, and Fort Bay is a great place to catch your breath, grab a meal, and enjoy an ocean view.
