Meadowood Cottage is the perfect destination for couples desiring the utmost of privacy, extended stays, families or small groups. The two bedrooms and full bathroom with tub and shower are upstairs.
The master bedroom is a warm chocolate brown color with red accents and botanicals. The king-sized bed is made of hand-forged iron with copper accents and the picture window overhead offers a beautiful view of treetops and blue skies. There is a spacious whirlpool for two set in the bedroom - for parents to indulge in when children are sleeping snug in the second bedroom.
The extra bedroom upstairs is a cheery yellow color with green and pink touches. The twin iron beds have cozy down comforters and a skylight adds brightness to the surroundings.
Lounge in the spacious livingroom (the sofa converts to a queen bed if needed) and enjoy your meals in the diningroom alcove or outside on the deck. There's plenty of room for play in the backyard and chances are you'll see plenty of deer passing through. The livingroom has a cozy fireplace for snuggling on cold nights - you'll find hot cocoa mix and fresh coffee beans in the kitchen.
Laundry facilities and a half bathroom are located downstairs. The kitchen is fully equiped with a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, utensils, dishes, and bakeware. If you're looking to have a quiet Thanksgiving or Christmas - you're all set in Meadowood Guesthouse!
Meadowood Guesthouse Kids & Family Info
As the parents of an active toddler, we know how difficult it is to find bed and breakfast accommodations that not only accept children, but are suitable for them. At Beside Still Waters Farm, you won't have to worry about shushing the baby for fear of disturbing other guests and you'll have your own laundry facilities in case of any "accidents". We also have some diapers and wipes on hand - just in case!
The kidlets will have their own room and beds and we've supplied a basket of toys and games for their enjoyment. Our video library contains many family-friendly flicks. The grounds offer lots of areas for exploration. Our resident pets include a dog, 3 cats, 2 friendly goats, and a coop of chickens. You'll more than likely see some native wildlife as well - deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, quail, and possibly the fox that lives by the barn!

Hey buddy! I just wanted to invite you up to our farm for your vacation! My people will take really good care of your people and they've also put together some really neat things for you! You'll get to use a comfy doggy bed and fancy crystal bowls during your stay. My mom will bake you some yummy doggy biscuits, biscotti and cookies (I know they're yummy because I personally taste-test each batch!) My mom is also great at making candies. She's figured out how to make carob truffles that are safe for pooches like us to eat. She calls them "faux-chocolate endulgence" - whatever that means! Talk about pampered paws!
Meadowood Guesthouse comfortably accommodates our non-human guests. For your pet's own comfort and security, we ask that you not leave him unattended in the cottage while you are out. Rates are $25 per pet, limit of 3.

Reservations are required and may be confirmed with 50% deposit. Visa/MC/AMEX/Discover/Diner's Card
Three night minimum stay required for Cabin Rentals.
Cancellation requires 30 days notice. All cancellations incur a $25 or 10% processing fee.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival will forfeit deposit. Voice-mail and email cancellations will not be accepted. Please speak with the innkeeper to cancel.
Children and Pets are welcome in Meadowood Guesthouse.
Smoking is not permitted.
