Spruce Lodge, on New Meadows Bay, is located about six miles from the open Atlantic. This is a beautiful tidal Bay, It has 10 ft. tides, is 30-50 feet deep and about 1/2 mile wide. Canoeing and Sea Kayaking doesn't get any better than this. The Cottage is centrally located, between Brunswick and Bath, or Freeport and Boothbay. It is easily accessible from Routes 95 and 1. The Lodge is nestled between an Audubon bird sanctuary, and the river; It is a wonderful place to relax and live life at a slower pace.
This rustic camp was built around the turn of the century. It has a Franklin stove in the main room, Kitchen and dining area, a bath with shower, a wrap around screened porch (with Queen Futon) overlooking the water and sunset and two bedrooms with double beds.
