Reserve all of Oakland Cottage... Great for family reunions or small group gatherings! Four spacious two room Suites, each with private bath, cable TV, some with mini-fridge, microwave & deck. Reserve a single Suite (suites are very family friendly), or, with a capacity for up to 20 overnight guests, The Whole Cottage is perfect to rent in its entirety (minus the In Keepers' Apartment) for wedding groups, small retreat style meetings, family and friend gatherings.

Oakland Cottage is an historic "Arts & Crafts" style home, circa 1910, allegedly designed by Richard Sharp Smith. The 5,000 square ft "cottage" has been naturally broken into private & roomy Suites, yet the integrity, spacious feel and character of this lovely historic home has been maintained with each renovation. The additional open common areas add to the spacious, warm & convenient experience.
Biltmore Estate
Oakland Cottage B&B is conveniently located 1.5 miles from the entrance to the Biltmore Estate - about 5 minutes away. You may purchase discounted tickets directly from us. Besides the incredible Estate & grounds, you may also enjoy the a tour of The Winery, fine & casual dining, shopping, rafting, horse-back riding, carriage rides and an assortment of outdoor programs.
Downtown Asheville
Almost a throwback to the 60s!! Asheville has a vibrant & eclectic downtown with outdoor dining, many street events, crafts, boutiques & local shopping & entertainment. It is a wonderful walking town - the "URBAN TRAIL" is one of our favorite walks - Oakland Cottage is just 2 miles from Pack Square - the heart of downtown Asheville - & just 1.5 miles to the "Tourists" Base Ball Park - Baseball games in the spring & summer are a hoot - try Thirsty Thursdays for extra fun.
The Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock Park, Great Smokey Mountains and all that the Blue Ridge & Appalachian Mountains of Western NC have to offer are within easy access of Oakland Cottage.

All Rates are based on double occupancy. Add $10 ea addl guest, and 10.75% taxes to all totals
The lower nightly rates are offered Midweek nights - Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Winter Dates are January after New Years Week through March and rates are discounted 10% during this time.
Two night minimum stays are required on weekend nights
Children of all ages are welcome
Pets are allowed with "Pet Interview" acceptance of our Pet Agreement & $15 per pet per night fees are applied |

| Rental Policies and Forms of Payment

Check-In from 3 PM until 7 PM
Advance Reservations:
All Suites require one nights room rate to hold a reservation. This fee is refundable, MINUS a $25.00 booking fee, up until 7 days in advance of the reservation date. Within 7 days, payment is due in full and is non-refundable.
Short Notice Reservations for Suites:
Reservations made within 7 days of the reservation date need be paid in full at the time of the booking and are non-refundable.
Reserving The Whole Cottage:
When reserving the entire Cottage (all 4 Suites), a 50% deposit is required to hold the reservation and is refundable, MINUS a $35.00 booking fee, 60 days or more in advance of the reservation date. WITHIN 60 days, payment is due in full and is non-refundable.
Pets are not allowed when individual Suites are rented, but are allowed if the entire Cottage (excepting the Innkeepers' Suite) is rented, with a non-refundable $15 per pet per night fee, maximum $75.00 per pet fee.
Smoking is not allowed in the house but there are ample porches and decks for easy outdoor smoking access (two of the Suites have private outdoor decks). |
