Guests love the quiet atmosphere. On a wintry day, curl up with a book on the down-stuffed chaise in the parlor and sip a cup of hot tea… or when weather permits relax on our covered veranda in rocking chairs or enjoy the roses blooming in our formal garden. Watch the birds and squirrels at one of our feeding stations or enjoy a concert held in the Mary Sheridan Park across the street.

In the dining room, a large selection of teas, freshly ground and brewed coffee and home baked cookies are always available. Our full, candlelit breakfast, prepared in our kosher kitchen, starts with fresh juice and a fruit course followed by a luscious main course. The menu changes daily based on the availability of local fresh ingredients.

Reservation Policies
- One night lodging deposit minimum required or 50% deposit for total lodging reservations on credit card or personal check within 72 hours will confirm your reservation.
- ALL RESERVATIONS WILL REQUIRE A VALID CREDIT CARD ON FILE.
- Reservation made fewer than 7 days in advance of anticipated arrival may be confirmed by credit card only for 50% cost of lodging and deposit is non-refundable.
- Reservations will be confirmed within five days of receipt of your deposit.
- Balance of lodging cost is due upon arrival. Cash or check is preferred.
- If you cancel more than 14 days in advance of your reserved dates, your deposit will be returned (minus $20.00 cancellation fee).
- Cancellation of less than 14 days will be billed a minimum of a $20.00 cancellation fee or for 100% of the total lodging cost if room/rooms can not be re-rented.
- York Street House reserves all rights for cancellation.
- Cancellations via email will not be accepted.
- We regret we cannot accommodate pets or young children at this time.
- Parking is at the rear of our Carriage House.
- York Street House is a SMOKE FREE ESTABLISHMENT; many of our guests come here for that very reason. SMOKING IS PERMITTED OUTSIDE ONLY! Burning of herbs or incense is also not permitted. An additional charge of $250 will be charged to your credit card upon departure if your room has been smoked in or if herbs or incense has been burned. This money reflects the cost to clean and decontaminate the fabrics in the room.
