This beautiful 3000sq ft 3bd/ 3.5 ba Hand Crafted Log home is nestled at 3200ft elevation at the crossroads of the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just minutes away from Dillsboro where you can ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, stroll through the quaint towns of Sylva, Waynesville, Franklin, and visit the Indian Reservation and Casino in Cherokee. You're only minutes away from the Nantahala River were you and your family can enjoy water activities such as white water rafting or tubing. Then there's the ski resort in Maggie Valley just 20 minutes away and the new amusement park "Ghost Town" that just re-opened. You can also visit the Biltmore in Asheville only 40 minutes away. Mountain Heritage Lodge is located in a 200 acre community preserve and backs up to National Forest with beautiful mountain views, creek side,and cascading waterfalls on every corner. You can enjoy many of it's walking trails, a children's play area, a outdoor community hearth, and a trout pond. This house has two large decks that overlook the Preserve, ponds, and mountain views. There is a gas fire pit next to the spa on the lower deck that you can sit and warm to or roast marshmellows at. Beautifully decorated with rustic lodge furnishings this house is truly a place to retreat to with your family or friends.

Smoky Mountain Getaways Policies & Procedures

PAYMENT: A reservation deposit equal to 50% of the total rental amount will be due 10 days from the time of reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date. Master Card & Visa are accepted. Personal checks are accepted up to 30 days before arrival date.

SECURITY DEPOSIT of $100-$500: Will be secured by holding a credit card number. Deposits may be used to repair damages or to replace missing contents.

LODGING PROTECTION PROGRAM: For your protection, we offer insurance that protects you against monetary loss due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness and injuries that may necessitate the cancelling of your reservation.

WATER: Most units are on a well or spring. Please use the water conservatively as unlike municipal water, the supply is limited.

WHAT TO BRING: We recommend that you bring all paper products, trash bags, detergents, toiletries, beach towels and charcoal for grills.
