Kapaa and the Coconut Coast is the former home of Hawaiian Royalty. Excellent opportunities abound for dining and shopping, tremdous sports options. Half way between the Princeville Resort and Poipu Beach, this is the most convenient location on the island of Kauai. A crescent shaped, white sand beach for the whole family is just over the canal bridge, a 5 minute easy walk. In a quiet residential neighborhood within Kapaa Beach Park, you will never have to fight for space or parking here.

Ocean front - two beaches 50 yards in either direction. One a silky, Kauai white sand beach, the other "Fuji" or "Baby" beach where children are sheltered by a lava rock wall running three city blocks parallel to the ocean front. Imagine a bath tub the length of three blocks, and approximately 20 feet wide. Perfect for beginer swimmers, teaching your children to snorkel, or older folks who don't like to be knocked around by the waves. There you will find good snorkeling on the reef just outside the lava rock inclosure.
