Visitors can venture into the historic town of Sorrento, which offers a wide variety of sights and entertainment from theater and cinema to markets, pastry, and ice cream shops. The Naples Airport is 34 miles away. Buses run from the airport to Naples train station and the port (Piazza Municipio) and also to Sorrento. Taxis are also available from the airport. From the port, hydrofoils and ferries connect to the island of Capri. After enjoying a complimentary breakfast, guests can join a cooking class to learn to prepare traditional Italian cuisine. Courses can be booked for groups of up to six and can take from one week to 13 weeks and cater for budding chefs with any level of experience.
