This semi-secluded cabin only 3 miles from Monarch Ski Resort and surrounded by the San Isabel National Forest is your home away from home. It is a popular cabin for the outdoor enthusiast - skiers, hikers, hunters, rock hounds, bikers, and fisherman. The cabin sleeps 11 adults and also has a crib, high chair, and pack 'n play for infants. Three private bedrooms and a loft, decorated with outdoor appeal, provide plenty of space for sleeping and relaxation. Down comforters are provided for additional comfort in the winter months. The kitchen is well equipped with coffee maker, microwave, toaster, washer/dryer, and turkey roaster. FREE long distance calling anywhere in the United States AND satellite T.V./Radio. A large BBQ is also provided for outdoor cooking. Many public forest trails are accessible from the cabin, which will take you into the backcountry for hiking, skiing, hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, ATVing, or horseback riding. Horses and ATVs can be rented within walking distance of the cabin. The area is popular for rock hunters and historic mine exploration - and of course looking for gold and silver! Whitewater rafting, hot springs and antique shopping are only minutes away in the town of Salida, just to the east. No smoking is allowed inside the cabin.

| Rental Policies and Forms of Payment

| A 2-night minimum is required (3-night for holidays). Half of the rental fee is due when the reservation is made - the other half is due 3 weeks prior to arrival. Additional fees are assessed for pets. Full refunds for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date. Other arrangements can be made for late cancellations - up to the discretion of the cabin owner. |
