The Hotel occupies the antique Palazzo Confalone, a noble residence built in the XII century, which has been declared a national monument. Its architectural layout reveals clear Arabic and oriental influences, enriched by paintings, frescos and precious archaeological findings. In fact, in the interior of the complex is a sequence of Moresque arches that rest on authentic marble columns from Greece and Rome, taken during the Medieval period from the archaeological zone on the coast.
