A 19th Century Venetian Villa is being transformed into Hotel and completion of refurbishment is imminent. The new Hotel has been given the name Hotel Claudia Augusta in honour of the old Roman road which joined the ancient town of Altino with Germany, running right along the land on which the hotel is situated.
