The Hilton Washington hotel is a contemporary urban retreat in the heart of the nation's capital. Guests enjoy being in the center of DC's most sought after neighborhoods. The hotel is a mile from the Smithsonian National Zoo and just four blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro Station on the Red Line. Currently, our hotel is undergoing a landmark restoration project - a top-to-bottom makeover where classic style will meet the contemporary attitude of this legendary property. Phases involve isolated sections of the hotel and intermittent activity on the outdoor Terrace Level grounds. Our full-service hotel offers something for everyone, whether planning a DC family vacation, attending a conference at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center or traveling on business. Highlights of the hotel include: Panoramic views of DC skyline - most guestrooms feature beautiful views, laptop-size in-room safe, and individual guestroom on-demand heating and cooling, Restaurants & Bars - All-day dining at Capital Cafe, with the signature Hilton Breakfast Buffet and an array of soups, sandwiches, crab cakes and selection of salads. McClellan's offers a sports bar atmosphere with 15 flat-screen TVs and a variety of beers on tap. On-site covered parking garage (fee). When it comes to location, no other hotel offers a more true Washington experience. By choosing us, guests will be centrally located to everything Washington, DC has to offer, including Adams Morgan - Reigns as the DC destination for world cuisine and live music hotspots, U Street Corridor - DC's hottest growing neighborhood where jazz legend Duke Ellington played his first notes, boutique shops, spas, cafes and Ben's Chili Bowl, famous for its chili half-smokes, Dupont Circle - Sets a leisure pace with gastro-pubs, bistros and a vibrant farmers market, Georgetown - Historic district with an eclectic mix of high-end, well-known shops and boutiques, Embassy Row - Charming residential neighborhood of the social and political.
