In little more than an hour from Atlanta, you will be transported to one of the most scenic and beautiful areas in North Georgia. Gorgeous mountains and lake views at Carter's Lake combined with great accommodations allows you to quickly get to that point of total relaxation. Kick back with a great horseshoe match or relax in our outside hot tub while looking at a star filled sky. This new, beautifully decorated spacious cabin is great for large groups, family get-togethers, corporate retreats and church groups. Being only an hour-and-a-half outside Atlanta, come and enjoy the spectacular mountain and lake views.
Hike the trails down to Carter's Lake (one of the last unspoiled lakes in Georgia), rent a pontoon boat or just laze the day away enjoying God's great creation.
Carter's Lake Lodge is a large 3100sq/ft all wood cabin with over 50 acres of mountain/lake views of Carter's Lake in Ellijay Ga. This beautifully decorated cabin offers all the modern conveniences. With 4 large bedrooms and 3 large bathrooms, we can accommodate up to 15 people easily. Other features includes 2 large stone fireplaces, 6 person hot tub, 3 large decks off each level, loft area, fully equipped modern kitchen and dinning area, and large screen satellite TV's with DVD/VCR. Other outside extras includes the horseshoe and bonfire area, sodded yard, and screened in deck on the main level for a bug free environment. Hiking trails, fishing, boating and horse back riding are also available. The cabin is great for business/church retreats, family reunions, or just to get-away for a quiet weekend. This cabin is a great value.
