The "Trout-Stocked" Tuckaseegee River flows only a few short yards from this gorgeous NEW mountain home!
Features include a gigantic wrap-around porch overlooking the River, a soaring greatroom with beautiful wood features, fireplace, satellite TV's in every room, beautiful furnishings & the most comfortable beds! Master suite on first floor with king bed, and two bedrooms & bath upstairs. Upstairs has 2 BR's & Bath. with a king in one BR and a queen and bunkbeds in the other. Home sleeps 8.
Fishtales is located on a delayed harvest section of the Tuckasegee River. This is a catch and release only with single hook artificial lures from Oct 1 until the first Saturday in June. This section is stocked with 49,000 trout during this time. (Go to Coldwater Stocking at www.ncwildlife.org to find out how many brook, brown or rainbow trout that the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission plans to stock this year and click on Jackson County!) October thru May offers the best trout fishing in the Southeast on this section of the River. For those of you who do not fish, enjoy tubing, shopping in Dillsboro or Silva, or just relaxing in your beautiful mountain home!

Smoky Mountain Getaways Policies & Procedures
PAYMENT: A reservation deposit equal to 50% of the total rental amount will be due 10 days from the time of reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date. Master Card & Visa are accepted. Personal checks are accepted up to 30 days before arrival date.
SECURITY DEPOSIT of $100-$500: Will be secured by holding a credit card number. Deposits may be used to repair damages or to replace missing contents.
LODGING PROTECTION PROGRAM: For your protection, we offer insurance that protects you against monetary loss due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness and injuries that may necessitate the cancelling of your reservation.
WATER: Most units are on a well or spring. Please use the water conservatively as unlike municipal water, the supply is limited.
WHAT TO BRING: We recommend that you bring all paper products, trash bags, detergents, toiletries, beach towels and charcoal for grills
