Barrier Dunes is a secure gated community right on the beach on Cape San Blas. The Cape is famous for it's beautiful white sand beach and dunes. The beach was rated number 1 in the U.S.A. recently and anyone who visits immediately knows why. The community itself is small and friendly - perfect for kids and pets. Here is Barrier Dunes in a nutshell:
A small community of townhomes on the dog friendly beach. Spectacular sunsets are a given! You can walk all around this community in five minutes.
A pool located right on the beach with lounge chairs, chairs and tables and a clubhouse. Many people choose the pool area to view the sunsets if they are not strolling the beach.

Barrier Dunes is located on a quiet road, just 1000 feet from the entrance to St. Joe's Peninsula State Park. From there are seven miles of unspoiled beach and dunes with hiking trails, and outstanding opportunities to nature watch, bird watch and explore the beach.

You are a two hour drive away from Talahassee, but only a twenty minute drive to Port. St. Joe and Apalachicola and a fifty minute drive to Panama City.
Talahasse is the historic capital of Florida. Besides the normal dining, entertainment and shopping opportunities, you will find a five storey high IMAX theatre, a Science and Arts Museum and an Antique Car Museum.
Cape San Blas has restaurants, one within walking distance of Barrier Dunes, and basic shopping. Port St. Joe and Apalachicola are historic and have all your shopping needs within a short drive.

| Rental Policies and Forms of Payment
|
This townhome normally rents by the week, Saturday to Saturday during summer high season and most of spring and fall. I can rent by the day, with two days minimum at other times and I also offer monthy rentals. Florida tax of 11% applies. Higher rates may apply during holidays, but not during Independence Day week or Spring Break.
In order to reserve, I ask for a $300 depost, which changes over to a refundable damage deposit during your stay.
The deposit is non-refundable in the case of a cancellation unless the cancellation is related to an evacuation. Half of the rental amount is due 60 days prior to your visit and the other half is due 30 days prior. I will only refund these amounts if I can re-rent the unit, less a $100 administrative fee.
I accept personal checks, cashiers checks, bank transfers and PayPal.
My policy is to do everything I can to make your stay as fantastic and unforgettable as possible. I am always available by phone or email to answer your questions. |
