Our 2 bedroom, one bath cabin sleeps 8 and is nestled in the heart of the Black Hills of South Dakota at the base of Deer Mountain Ski Area. You will be treated to a clean, non smoking, complete cabin experience (we installed running water and electricity in 1982). We are only minutes away from two of the best ski areas east of the Rockies. If downhill skiing isn't your game, check out the vast snowmobile and cross country skiing trails! Local outfitters rent snowmobiles for around $125 per day. Not only do we have some of the best winter sports, we also welcome you to check out the trout fly fishing, mountain biking and hiking in the spring and summer. If you are a hunter, the deer, elk and turkey hunting is unbelievable. When it comes to night life, get ready, because historic Deadwood, South Dakota is only 15 minutes away. Deadwood has some of the best restaurants in South Dakota and they have recently raised the bet limit to $100 at the poker tables! While you're here, it's a must to check out: Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the Spearfish Corvette Rally, the Deadwood Jam, all within 40 miles of our cabin. Call or e-mail today to make your reservation.
