The beachfront Coral Sands Resort is on Trinity Beach, a few miles from Palm Cove, and approximately eight miles from Cairns Domestic and International Airport. The resort is about 15 minutes from the boutiques, weekend markets, casual eateries, fine restaurants, and entertainment of Cairns. Tropical rainforest spills down to the coast meeting 15 miles of beaches. Coral Sands is a good base for exploring the rainforest or the reef, and tours pick up and drop off at the resort.
Resort amenities include the two barbecue areas, palm-spotted picnic area, two acres of tropical gardens, beachfront restaurant, and ocean-view, lagoon-size pool with lounge chairs, a waterfall, and covered areas. The resort also offers kids activities, tour desk service, dry cleaning, free underground parking, and a regular beach bus to Cairns city 24 hours per day.
