The Coast Bastion Inn is five minutes from Departure Bay and Dukes Point where regularly scheduled BC Ferries leave Nanaimo for sailings to Vancouver. The city airport is a 20 minute drive and harbour to harbour flights from Vancouver dock at the Seaplane Terminal across from the hotel.
