Surrounded by the majestic peaks of Colorado's western slope, Chipeta Sun Lodge and Spa is located in Ridgway, approximately 10 miles from Ouray and 40 miles from Telluride. Ridgway is the central location for exploring the northern San Juan Mountains and the Rocky Mountains. The activities abound in all seasons with back country access in all directions. Mild to Wild adventures await whatever your heart desires, from music festivals and cultural events to extreme skiing and water adventures. Fine dining and unique shops are grouped around the Central Park, which is a short walk from the hotel. Hotel amenities include a full-service spa (including daily classes in yoga and exercise, massage, facials, manicures and pedicures), fitness facility with cardio and weight equipment, swimming pool (seasonal), dry cedar sauna, steam room, two-story tree filled solarium, and our relaxing Great Room with wood fire, hot tea, cookies, books, and more.
