In December 2009, The Ranch embarked on an exciting transformation, and has emerged this fall 2010 as a completely new style of resort that encourages guests to play, engage and connect. Taking full advantage of nearly 500 acres of magnetic landscape, the resort includes scores of programs and activities such as beekeeping, early morning hikes, and fitness classes. Carmel Valley Ranch offers a rich array of amenities including a Pete Dye championship golf course, tennis courts, bocce ball and basketball courts, swimming pools, hot tubs, an organic garden and vineyard, kids splash zone and playground, meeting rooms and a bevy of swings scattered throughout the resort hanging from majestic 300;year old oaks. The new Spa Aiyana, drawing on the bounty of the region, offers a variety of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments. The renovation also includes a complete redesign of the 139 spacious suites that are scattered along the foothills, affording spectacular views. Each of the newly renovated guest suites features cathedral ceilings, spacious bathrooms with separate showers and soaking tubs, private decks, fireplaces, flat;screen high;definition TV;s with blu;ray DVD players, iPod docking stations, and complimentary wireless Internet access. We are pet-passionate at Carmel Valley Ranch. Pets are welcome for a one-time pet fee of 100 per pet and receive a true Ranch-style welcome including a doggy bed, water bowl and pet amenity.
