Historic Apalachicola

Enjoy the charm of this historic fishing village. Flourished when it was the second largest cotten shipping port in the Southease. Rose and fell through the cotton trade, lumber shipping, fishing & oystering. Take a walking tour to see the many Victorian "Painted Ladies" (old houses). Wander through the antique shops. Enjoy the many restaurants ranging from rustic to 5 star. Of course, visit the Gorrie museum (inventer of the ice machine).
