Welcome to Brava House-a retreat of urban serenity in Austin Texas.
We would be honored to have you stay as one of our pampered guests. Located in the wonderful neighborhood of Clarksville in central Austin, Brava House provides a truly memorable stay in the Capitol City. One of Austin's first Victorian homes built in the late 1880's, and formerly the Southard House, we offer modern amenities to indulge you. Enjoy the quiet, peaceful setting and very private rooms, with no adjoining walls between any two rooms - yet at the same time, you will be within strolling distance of the nightlife in downtown Austin, neighborhood shops, restaurants, art galleries and parks. Brava House offers the best of both worlds: quiet serenity, in the heart of all that Austin has to offer!
The home has been lovingly restored and features charming architectural details such as hardwood floors, high ceilings, crown molding, original fireplaces and elegant antique furnishings. In addition, the home has been equipped for today's modern traveler with wireless internet access, private baths, phone and cable TV, mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwaves (in suites only) work areas and other amenities.
Our location is minutes to 6th Street, the Texas State Capitol, The University of Texas at Austin, Expo Center, Palmer Auditorium, The Convention Center, Texas State History Museum, Barton Springs, Town Lake Hike & Bike Trail, Zilker Park, and the LBJ Library.
Brava House is truly all-inclusive - there are no additional charges for phone calls, internet service, movies & games, breakfast, tea & snacks, or anything else we offer. The only charge additional to your room rate you might incur is if you book one of our package add-ons.

Brava House requires a 2-night minimum stay on weekends and holidays. Sometimes we can make exceptions to this policy - please contact us to inquire about exception dates.
Extended Stay Discount
Brava House will extend a 10% discount for any stay of 7 consecutive nights or longer. Please inquire about this discount at time of reservation.
Group Discount
Brava House offers a 10% discount for group reservations that book all rooms. This discount is usually only available for weekday rentals, but can sometimes be offered during weekends, depending on date and length of stay. Please contact us for more information about your group reservation at Brava House.
