Daytona Beach Activities
Daytona Beach offers many activities on the beachside and on the mainland. On the beachside there are many points of interest:

Ponce Inlet Lighthouse - You can tour Florida's tallest lighthouse. Completed in 1887, the Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station was built when the area was known as Mosquito Inlet. After decades of restoration by the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse Preservation Association, it stands today as one of the best preserved, most complete Light Stations in the nation.

Main Street Pier and Ocean Walk - A historical pier and band shell provides for a scenic walk along the Atlantic Ocean. The Ocean Walk is a great location to have a Starbuck's coffee or cocktail while watching the waves or listening to great music at one of the outdoor band shell concerts. The Ocean Walk also provides many restaurants and a state of the art multi-screen movie theatre.

On the mainland there are dining and shopping experiences for all.

Beach Street - On historic Beach Street there are many great restaurants within walking distance from the Inn. Lined with great shops and antique galleries, the street is on the intercostals waterway and park. Also on Beach Street is the famed Harley Davidson showroom, gift shop and café.

Daytona Speedway and Daytona USA - DAYTONA USA is a one-of-kind interactive motor sports attraction, which features a variety of hands-on activities utilizing both advanced technology and historical elements. Visitors exploring the attraction discover first-hand the universal appeal of motor sports. They examine the design features of a NASCAR Winston Cup stock car at DuPont's Technology of Speed, in which Jeff Gordon's car actually comes apart in front of your eyes.

Rental Policies and Forms of Payment

For the health and safety of all our guests, The August Seven Inn is a non- smoking establishment, please refrain from smoking ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES A $250 charge will be applied to the bill of any guest who smokes in any of the Inn's rooms.
We welcome well behaved teens over the age of 15, however, unaccompanied young adults must be 21 or older to reserve.
Pets are not allowed, but we will gladly supply you with the name of a kennel near by.
Reservations will be charged 50% upon booking (or minimum of one night)and the remainder upon arrival.
A cancellation notice of 30 days in advance is required on special events for a full refund less a $25 processing fee. Non special events require a 14 day notice in advance for a cancellation with refund less a $25 processing fee.
Cancelations FOR ANY REASON will not be accepted if not within the stated time period as we are a small establishment and cancellations effect us greatly.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE that cancellations within the 30(special event) or 14(non-special event)day periods will be responsible for the full reservation. If we are able to re rent the room, you may be entitled to a refund less the $25 processing fee.
A credit may be given in place of the forfeited refund if you choose to be applied to a future reservation of the same year along with a paid stay (mid week and off season only)
Cancellations are only accepted through speaking with a representative of the Inn and receiving a cancellation confirmation number.
Check in is between 4 and 5pm. Rooms will not be ready before 4pm. Later arrivals require prior approval. Arrivals AFTER 10pm WILL ACCRUE ADDITIONAL CHARGES.
Check out is at 11am. Late checkouts require prior approval and are subject to additional charges.
