She is located on the corner of Fieldstone Dr. & Abbyville Ct, 2 blocks from South Beach & the Radisson, conveniently in the vicinity of the Hilton and many of Marco's finest Luxury Residences. Sitting on Landmark Waterway (one of the biggest open water areas on Marco), affords great opportunities to enjoy the view, some dock fishing, and just plain RELAXATION!
Fieldstone, built by ENTERPRIZE Homes is of 1st Rate construction. The home has high ceilings in every room and the layout is grand, flowing and spacious. Central A/C, controlled in every room, via Duct adjustments, is STANDARD! Also, ALL bedrooms have ceiling fans in them.
The home is newly furnished and decorated with "High End" furniture and state-of-the-art amenities. Decorator Furnished, This home serves as our RESIDENCE when on the Island.
Undoubtedly, one very attractive feature of Fieldstone is its proximity to the Best Marco has to offer. Unlike some other Marco Rental owners that really stretch the term "Walk to the Beach" (you should ask them), we MEAN IT! And not just ANY beach - South Beach! We are just down the block from the Marriott and all the shopping and fine dining that goes with it.
Fieldstone sits on a lushly, tropically landscaped, over sized corner property (160 ft - vs the normal 80 ft for most homes on Marco). There is a huge side lawn for those days when you want to have the children close to home while you sit by the pool or enjoy a quiet day around the house. The side yard sits on a short cul-de-sac providing additional "Safe" area for the children to bike ride in.
We think the view from the back Lanai is nothing short of spectacular. Fieldstone is situated on the end of a waterway facing east toward Landmark waterway. We estimate it to be a 10-15 "No Wake" minute ride by boat to the open waters of the Gulf and tropical sunsets and frolicking dolphins that Marco is famous for. And best of all, you come out by Cape Marco at the south end of the island.
Brand new with the Building of our home is our 30ft Dream Dock. No splinters included!!! The dock is made of a plastic material that has NO wood in it. It has tie-ups for your boat, a retractable ladder and a fish cleaning station. We supply the fishing poles!
And of course there is the large, heated (NOT SOLAR) swimming pool (5 1/2 ft. deep tapering to 3 1/2 ft.) . Covered in the winter, so we can keep it warm for you, and situated on an oversized Lanai, its the perfect place to relax at the waters edge and enjoy the view. This is NOT your typical Chlorine pool, rather a SALINE pool. Once you try a SALINE pool, you will NEVER want to swim in Chlorine again. The Lanai has its own small refrigerator so you can keep cool drinks and snacks close at hand. There are loungers for 4 people and table seating for 8 at the tables. Two ceiling fans and Lanai audio are also present.
With Fieldstone's Lanai facing to the East, you have the most fantastic sunrises and best of all, we get sun for most of the day as the sun makes its way over the Lanai heading east to west. Also, there is a portion of the lanai that gets sun ALL day, as it is not blocked at any time by the house. We have positioned two of the lounge chairs at this location.
Also available for your comfort is our attached hot tub. It includes a waterfall and mood lighting . Now you can relax in the shade and look for dolphins in the waterway while the jets pulse away the days cares.
One of the really "cool" things about Fieldstone, is that there are so many sliding doors and expansive windows that open up onto the Lanai. Its really easy to enjoy the long water view from any of the common rooms of the home.
The Living Room opens up to the pool area with fully retracting 8' sliding doors. Many of the common areas like the Family Room and Living Room have 18'' top of the line tiles.
The Formal Dining room seats 6. It is adjacent to the kitchen, yet private enough to keep "Cooking" noise to a minimum. The kitchen in Fieldstone is clearly designed for the cooks in the family. It boasts a huge pantry, way more cabinets then we could possibly fill and "Premium" appliances including Micro Wave, Dish Washer, Garbage Disposal and Refrigerator. The counters and breakfast bar are made of Coran for easy cleanup and care. We loved the fact that you can see any activities going on in the pool and in the family room.
The Family room (where we spend our time inside) has a really cooooool family entertainment system. The 36" Television is a Sony, connected to a DVD player and home theater system with Digital Surround sound.
There are 5 speakers total that create the home theater experience (and as my totally hip dauhgter says "it ROCKS"). You can also listen to CDs and AM/FM radio through the audio component of the system. We spared no resources when it came to furnishing this room and there is a ceiling fan overhead for your comfort.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE. Just off the kitchen of this splendid home is our game room. With a pass thru caterers nook, your children can enjoy our FULL SIZED pool table, have access to food & drink, but not be bothersome to you in the kitchen. This feature ALONE allows for the ultimate in relaxation for your vacation.
The Master Bedroom suite is exactly what you would expect in a home of this grandeur. There is a 30" Sony XBR TV with matching DVD Player (and yes we supply the DVD's). There are wireless headphones so one person can sleep while the other watches the TV. Also, there is a personal Audio system with CD/Tape and AM/FM Tuner. His & Her closets make using this bedroom a treat.
The Bathroom boasts twin sinks which are inlaid on a cultured marble counter with a massive mirror set behind the vanity. There is a soaking tub and separate shower. The toilet & BIDET, located in a separate room set to the right side of the shower, allows couples to make use of the master bathroom at the same time without surrendering any privacy.
The Rome room (we call it this because the decor reminds us of Italy) offers a queen size pull out bed, access to always on high speed internet access, Fax-Multi Function center and TV/DVD entertainment system. Ceiling fan, Alarm Clock and Telephone are also present. This room serves us very well as our office.
The Tommy Bahama room (we call it this because the decor is of that theme ) offers a queen size bed, loads of closet space, Ceiling fan, Alarm Clock and Telephone are also present. Of course, cable TV with a DVD player is included.
The 3rd bedroom offers two twin beds and a personal entertainment system that includes a TV/VCR and a Nintendo Game Cube (with a few of our select games from our own collection). Ceiling fan, Alarm Clock and Telephone are also present. Of course a TV with DVD player is included.
And of course Fieldstone includes a High Capacity Washer and Dryer which is located near the entrance way to the garage and adjacent to the kitchen. As is typical in our home, storage and cabinet space abounds. The pass through the Laundry room from the garage allows you to keep any beach remnants as far from the inside of the home as possible.

Marco Island: Tropical Tranquility
Marco Island, Florida is a place to go when you don´t want to worry about the stresses of daily life. This serene hamlet, the largest in Florida´s "10,000 Islands" area, is a combination of sophistication, historical tradition, and laid back, friendly people.
Marco Island was originally home to the Calusa Indian tribe. With its relatively shallow waters, Marco Island is an ideal spot for deep-sea fishing charters. You can reel in snook, redfish, tarpon, snapper, and trout, to name a few.
You can find many outdoor activities to enhance your vacation. Sailing, scuba diving, parasailing, jet-ski rentals, swimming, and wind surfing are all popular on Marco Island.
If you want to absorb even more of a natural habitat, take a day and drive the roughly 30 miles down to Everglades National Park, the jumping off point of the Everglades, the largest remaining subtropical wilderness in the United States.
Getting to Marco Island is easy. From I-75, take Exit 101 (Marco Island), heading south on Collier Boulevard (formerly County Road 951) for 20 miles. Cross the Jolly Bridge onto Marco Island.
