The Lazy Oak Bed and Breakfast is a historic plantation style farmhouse built in 1911 for John and Willie Shelton. They were a prominent family in South Austin and raised six sons in the house.

The Lazy Oak is minutes from the Capitol, 6th Street, Convention Center and downtown business district. It is the perfect spot for corporate lodging as well as vacation stays. The feel of the home is open, airy and relaxed, with a mix of antique and eclectic furnishings. Original art is shown throughout the house.
