The Innkeepers and staff at the Lodge not only run the six room Bed & Breakfast, they also coordinate cottage rentals, dining reservations, and special occasion events such as weddings and business meetings.

The Lodge sits high atop Sand Mountain, with a long back porch giving a spectacular view of the Tennessee River and the view towards Chattanooga. From the massive stone fireplaces to soft, down pillows, to whirlpool tubs, each room at the Lodge provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway.
Gorham's Bluff Dining
A special part of the ambiance of a stay at Gorham's Bluff is the food.
Dinner is a four-course, chef's choice gourmet meal served on white tablecloths with flattering candlelight and fresh flowers. You are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine which we will cork and serve for you. Dress is casual. Dinner reservations are required in advance. Breakfast is a classic Southern treat. As Travel & Leisure magazine described it, it is "good enough to stop your heart…" A hearty, indulgent buffet is presented on the sideboard and is accompanied by an egg dish such as a frittata or soufflé, an appropriate side dish, sausage, extra-lean bacon, hot biscuits and gravy, and a fruit combination. Our signature sweet biscuits are served piping hot with true Southern hospitality. Breakfast is served every morning at 8:30 a.m.
Gorham's Bluff Buildings
The Lodge: A group may lease the entire Lodge as well as the Dining Room.
Overlook Pavilion: The Overlook Pavilion is the favored site for weddings.
Meeting House: The Meeting House can accommodate groups as large as 200 depending on the nature of the meeting, wedding or performance.
The Amphitheater: The Amphitheater sits on the edge of the Bluff so that the audience can enjoy a performance at the same time it enjoys the spectacular view. The Amphitheater has proved to be an extremely popular venue for performing artists. Note that the curfew for outdoor musical events at Gorham's Bluff is 11:00 p.m.

If you are searching for the perfect wedding spot, Gorham's Bluff is your destination. Overlooking the sweeping vista of the Tennessee River Valley and the mountains beyond, the Lodge on Gorham's Bluff and the Overlook Pavilion provide a breathtaking backdrop for your wedding day. A lovely Meeting House is also available for those who want a memorable indoor ceremony.
Most brides choose Gorham's Bluff because of its beautiful setting and its lovely architecture. Most leave with lovely memories of the day because The Lodge gave them the perfect ambiance for celebrating lifelong relationships with family and friends who came to share the occasion.
The Lodge's six rooms with fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and other amenities provide comfort and private space for the wedding party and their guests. Cottages are also available.

Cancellations:
- Reservations need to be made at least 1 day prior to arrival.
- Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. With single room bookings, the full deposit is refunded with cancellation notice received 72 hours prior to the arrival date. Modifications need to be made at least 3 days prior to arrival. |
